Pros and cons of PC Magazine app for iPhone and iPad

PC Magazine app good for

This app does what it was meant to do! Read all your magazines on the road or on the train. Simple and to the point.
I am really like the way this app interfaces with My iPad. I give 5 stars. Keep up with the great work your doing.
I did have an issue with the issues not working, but I contacted their customer service by going into settings in the app, and they resolved it for me right away. I realized I used my iTunes account and not my digital subscription login. I used it, and it worked. I used my iTunes account to restore purchases, and it worked.
This app is amazing. Being the new year i was not going anything stop me from getting into the digital age. First, I went to Settings > Customer Support I was emailed back in a prompt manner. It turns out I was not an iTunes subscriber, I had bought my subscription on the PCmagazine website. I was confused at first by the iTunes Subscriber or Digital Subscriber option. I needed to login as a Digital Subscriber based on how I purchased my subscription. I guess i could have figured this out on my own, oh well next time. That being said, I am now amazed at how easy it is to read the magazine on my phone or ipad and will be getting more apps like this.
This app is done well with great value for your money. They touch the latest and also trending software, hardware and opinion.
When they fix the minor bug left in the app this will be 6 star rating. The content designer go way beyond what the paper based edition does. They put to shame other magazines available in the AppStore. And its only beginning...

Some bad moments

"November issue is ready for download" but it wouldnt because I need to an updated version of the app which does not exist in the App Store! What a rip off. This is nuts. This is hard to believe that PC Mag publishes an issue that needs an updated app but they dont update the app. I deleted the app and reinstalled but that does not work. Going to call the App Store and see if they would refund my money. Version 2 does not have any of my purchased issues, iTunes keeps saying it takes few minutes to restore but it has far more than minutes. PC mag app is a disaster
Im having the same issues as others. After the new version was downloaded, my library was empty. It keeps asking me to subscribe (I am a subscriber through iTunes) and it says it may take a while to restore purchases, but never does. Please fix this!
This must be a joke or something. First of all you need to create a new account based on an email which may still belong to an existing subscriber or not. And then you need to reset the password you just created in order to login with the new password you just received on the email mentioned above. Are you kidding? Are you serious?
Ive just downloaded the new update and I hate it. Its very confusing and hard to find what you want. Theres no more scrolling down to read an article. You have to choose articles from a menu and read then in sequence. Dont like it a bit.
This app just doesnt work. It asks me to create an account and then tells me my username and password are invalid when I try to log in. I guess they had to pay Zinio, which worked fine too big a cut.
Cant access anything after signing up for a subscription. Current app keeps requiring an upgrade and nothing happens. Useless ripoff so save yourself a hassle and some cash and dont subscribe
